- NA This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Perform an inventory of the dead down fuels of the Continuous Forest Inventory (CFI) plots and gather data of specified plots into the Global Positioning System (GPS). The fuels loading data will be used in mitigating the potential fire hazards that may occur in areas having heavy concentrations of fuels. The Government will perform data analysis and enter the data into the Global Information System (GIS) mapping system to generate two fire/fuels management layers (fuel loading and fire behavior/modeling). The layers in conjunction with current GIS data will serve as a Government management tool to prioritize and plan the placement/construction of strategic/tactical fuel breaks, prescribed burning activity and reduction of hazardous fuels on the Jicarilla Apache Indian Nation lands.
