- This is a Notice of Intent to Award a sole source procurement to Peoplenet Communications Corp., 1107 Hazeltine Blvd., Suite 350-MD#53, Chaska Mn. 55318-1007, 612-368-4100. Items to be procured are for the purchase of Item #0001. A service contract to provide Intouch Service (vehicle for tracking (GPS) service cellular capability) for seventy two (72) vehicles located at the SWFRT, MCB, Camp Pendleton, Ca. for the period 01 April 2002 through 31 March 2003 with the option to extend two (2) additional one (1) year periods. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit quotations. This notice of Intent is not a request for competitive quotations. However, the Government will consider all quotations received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Offers sent via the U. S. Postal Service should be mailed to the Regional Contracting Office, USMC, Post Office Box 1609, Oceanside, CA 92051. Federal Express should be sent to Regional Contracting Office, Building 22180, Camp Pendleton, CA 92055. All others not sent through the U. S. Postal Service will be considered to be hand carried and direct delivered. Hand carried offers must be delivered to Building 22180, Regional Contracting Office, Camp Pendleton, CA. Direct delivery of offers is only possible during weekdays, also be submitted via facsimile number (760 725-8445 or (760) 725-4346, Attn: Gloria Muchemore. This purchase will be done under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized under FAR 6.302-1. The anticipated award day is 29 March 2002.
