Description

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport proposes to acquire by negotiation services to support a fitness center at its facility in Newport, Rhode Island. The Contractor shall develop and provide fitness programs, exercise classes, incentive programs, lectures/education presentations, quarterly news letter, and an annual health fair. A one-year, firm-fixed-price contract with 4 one-year options is anticipated. Contract performance is expected to begin 1 October 2002. The Government requires 40 hours per week (excluding Federal Holidays) of a Fitness Manager, and 20 hours per week (excluding Federal Holidays) of a Fitness Instructor. The Government will evaluate proposals for the best value based on Past Performance, Personnel, Technical and Management Approach, and Price. This is a follow-on to Contract N66604-98-C-0277 with FMF Corporation of Great Falls, Virginia. This acquisition is set aside 100% for small business. NAICS Code is 713940. FAR Parts 12 and 13 procedures shall be used. Our department no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form.
