- Description
- Maintenance and Logistic Command, Pacific proposes to contract the dockside repairs of USCGC ACTIVE (WMEC 618) 210 ft, medium endurance cutter, homeported in Port Angeles, Washington. All work shall be performed at the contractor facilities, during the period of 16 July 2002 and complete 09 September 2002. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 15 days after the posted date of this notice. Potential offerors are advised that the solicitation, specification and other notifications can also be accessed on the web at: www.eps.gov. Work items to include but not limited to: production control, Gantt bar chart, hull plating & propellers diver cleaning, helo talon grid inspection & test, tanks (aviation fuel service) clean and inspect, tanks (aviation fuel stowage) clean and inspect, deck (02) plate renewal, boiler exhaust stack uptakes commercial cleaning, ship service diesel generator exhaust stack uptakes commercial cleaning, electrical meter calibration, compartment insulation (non-eng compt) renewal, flight deck coating renewal, deck coverings (interior wet) repair/reseal, single point davit (gen) level 2 inspect & test, cresent davit (gen) level 2 inspect and repair, compressed air receivers (all) clean inspect & hydro, steam condensate piping & valve renewal, evaporator salinity meter calibration, a/c raw water valve renewal, boiler feed water piping renewal, chilled water system cleaning and inspection. The solicitation is issued in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. All responsive sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-Owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT), Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers working capital financing in the form of lines of credit to finance accounts receivable for transportation related contracts.
