- Description
- NIMA requires sign language interpreter/transliteration services for six month period of 1 April 2002 to 30 September 2002 to be performed in the St. Louis metro area. Interpreters must hold an Interpreting Certificate and Transliterating Certificate (IC/TC) or the Comprehensive Skills Certificate (CSC) and must currently hold a top secret security clearance. The requirement is for two interpreters; one working eight hour days Monday thru Thursday, and the second working eight hour days Tuesday thru Thursday. The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106(b)(1), Deaf Interlink. Interested persons may identify their capability to meet the requirement or submit proposals. All proposals received will be considered by the Government. However, information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. These services will be purchased in accordance with FAR Part 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. All contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) to be eligible for award.
