Description

Elevator Maintenance Service for the U.S. Courthouse and Customhouse, 1716 Spielbusch Avenue, Toledo, Ohio. The peformance period is for a three year period with two one-year option periods. Service is expected to begin August 01, 2002. The contractor shall provide full elevator maintenance service in compliance with the ANSI/ASME Safety Code requirements, the manufacturer's recommendation, the Elevator Industry Field Employee's Safety Handbook, National Elevator Code, and all other applicable laws, regulations, rules, ordinances, codes, etc. Full maintenance service is defined as all services, repairs and testing necessary to maintain all elevators, appurtenances and accessories in a fully operational mode at all times except for prescheduled downtime including all labor, parts and materials. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 235950, with a size standard of 12.0 Million. This is a negotiated procurement and it is open to all business concerns. The Request for Proposals (RFP) including amendments, etc. (if applicable) will be available only through the Electronic Posting System (EPS) on the internet at www.eps.gov. Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFP and amendments (if any). It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). The RFP will be posted on or about March 29, 2002. Woman-owned, Hubzone, Veteran, and small disavantaged businesses are encourged to submitt an offer.
