- NA The Georeferenced Integrated Multimedia Support System/Digital Mapping and Reconnaissance Tool (GIMMSS/DMRT) is a system that incorporates the use of ground, air, and waterborne GPS-equipped video/still digital cameras to rapidly collect, process, and diss eminate non-standard near real-time georeferenced integrated multimedia products to support: Force protection Exercises Map updates Contingency operations GIMMSS/DMRT uses extensive immerse still/video to collect, process, and disseminate multimedia georeferenced products. GIMMSS/DMRT requires an application that displays visual immersive stills and flat images that provides positional information, direction of view (in degress) that is associated with a spatial map/image that displays a directional icon that corresponds to the visual image. The application must support both immersive and JPG formats. This application also must have a text box to manually enter text. The application must support Windows 95/98/2000 and ME OS systems. And supports infusion of GPS metadata into the images for use in GIS applications.
