- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are bein g requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is DAHA-02-T-0015 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document, design drawings (3 pages) and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in ef fect though Federal Acquisition Circular 01-05. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. NAICS code is 332439 with the size standard being less than 500 employees. The Montana Army National Guard has a requirement for the f abrication of 28 steel containers for storage and rapid deployment of the Fuel System Supply Point (FSSP) equipment. Contractors shall quote this project in accordance with the design drawings (3 pages). The drawings reflect that the containers must be 14? 0? in length and 3? 8? in height and width to meet specific needs. These boxes shall be fabricated from at least 20-gauge steel. The co ntainers will have a split hinged top with locking devise. The hinges would make the top go completely down to the side for ease of opening and loading of the container. There will be 3 cross members for support of the container under the lid. The cross m embers shall be removable for access into the container. The bottom of the container shall have access for a forklift. The required delivery schedule is: 8 April 2002; First Article testing will be delivered to Billings for the fit test 14 Containers to be delivered in Billings 1 May, 2002 14 Containers to be delivered in Kalispell 1 June, 2002 This acquisition is FOB Destination with delivery and acceptance at 2915 Gabel Road, Billings MT 59102 and 1840 Hwy 93 South, Kalispell MT 59901 respectively. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, and transportation necessary to deliver th e above mentioned items.
