15 March 2002 MEMORANDUM FOR PROSPECTIVE VENDORS FROM: 21 CONS/LGCCA 135 E. Ent Ave, Ste 101 Peterson AFB CO 80914-1385 SUBJECT: High Speed Internet Access for Lodging and Conference Facilities throughout Air Force Space Command 1. The government is conducting market research to determine the best procurement strategy to acquire High Speed Internet Access for Lodging and Conference Facilities throughout Air Force Space Command lodging. Request prospective vendors submit their pre-printed marketing information that demonstrates their ability to provide the described services and your business size (large, small, SDB, women owned, etc). Also, please indicate if these services are available via a GSA Federal Supply Schedule contract or open market basis. This information shall be submitted not later than 29 March 2002. 2. HQ AFSPC/SCMU requires high-speed Internet access for lodging and conference facilities as an alternative method to access official web-based e-mail. These services consist of : Install, test and cutover a turn-key, nonwireless, operation, maintenance and management of technical support call center at the contractor's location; development, operation and maintenance of site specific web sites; operation, maintenance and management of connectivity providing dedicated internet access; provision, maintenance and management of infrastructure support to provide high speed internet access service. These services shall be performed on a 24-hour-per-day, 7-day per week basis. The contractor shall also interface with other contractors or government agencies in support of issues dealing with the operation, maintenance and management of high-speed internet access service in areas where the contractor is the functional manager, i.e., Internet Service Provider, T-1 service, infrastructure, etc. 3.
