- Correction: This action originally publicized in the FBO dated 14 Feb 2002 has the following changes: a) Change the title to Miniature Air Launched Vehicle (MALV) b) The wording ?replicate? is to be replaced with ?present? in requirement "1)" of original announcement. Further the word ?stimulate? should be added to requirement such that it reads ? ? sufficient fidelity to stimulate, deceive ?.?. The MALD's first requirement is to stimulate the enemy IADS. This is a clarification of the requirement. c) The following acronyms are defined "IADS", Integrated Air Defense System; "SAS", Signature Augmentation System; "RF", Radio Frequency. d) Remove requirement "5)" completely and replace with the following: "Mission planning is expected to employ MALD Software modules based on and interfacing with existing planning systems (e.g. Air Force Mission Support System [AFMSS]/ Portable Flight Planning systems [PFPS]/Joint Mission Planning System [JMPS]). Mission data will be uploaded to the MALD via CMBRE or an aircraft-to-decoy data interface." e) Add the following: The Precision Strike SPO has scheduled an Industry Day presentation on Tuesday March 26, 2002 - in building 860 (Enlisted Club, near East Gate), in the Top Three Club Room from 8:00 - 12:00; One-on-One sessions may be scheduled for March 27-28. For additional information refer to the Point of Contact Section, Ms Karen Schutt. Further the Precision Strike SPO is attempting to bring on-line a web-based information system in which program specific information may be posted. Notification of availability of this system will be posted at a later date. e) Add Melvin Duval?s e-mail address to technical information: melvin.duval@eglin.af.mil <mailto:melvin.duval@eglin.af.mil.
