- Description
- Provide professional services for various healthcare planning for VISN 5 Medical Centers in Washington, DC; Baltimore, MD; Perry Point, MD; Fort Howard, MD and Martinsburg, WV. This includes hospitals, community based outpatient clinics, nursing homes and domiciliaries. Services include site investigations, master planning activities, development of schematic alternatives, and cost estimates. The intent is to award one open-ended A/E IDIQ master contract for a period of one year not to exceed $500,000 and three one-year options not to exceed $500,000 each. Area of consideration is restricted to firms located within a 150-mile radius of Washington, DC. Award of individual task orders is contingent upon project funding and may vary in scope and size. Selection criteria will be based on: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactory performance; (2) Specialized experience in Health Care Planning; (3) Capacity to accomplish multiple, simultaneous task orders at different locations; (4) Past performance on similar projects in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with schedules; (5) Qualifications of staff to be assigned, with special emphasis on field personnel to be assigned; and (6) Other appropriate information provided. A/E firms that meet the requirements listed in this announcement are invited to submit three (3) copies of the completed Standard Forms (SF) 254 and 255 include agency identification number 688-48-02 (see Numbered Note 24) to the Contracting Officer in Room 1B-112 on or before 1:00 p.m. on April 15, 2002. Numbered Note 1 Notification of 100% set aside for small business applies to this procurement. The Small Business Size Standard set by NAICS Code 541310 is $4 million. No bid packages are available. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP).
