- Description
- DTCG87-02-B-643063 U.S. Coast Guard Bathroom Renovation at Cordova Housing, Cordova, Alaska. The work consists of renovating the bathrooms in eleven (11) 3-bedroom housing units and four (4) 2-bedroom housing units. Each 3-bedroom unit contains one full bathroom upstairs, and one half bathroom downstairs. Work includes replacement of medicine cabinets, vanities, and countertops, the installation of tub surrounds and bath accessories, replacement of flooring, water closets, bathtubs, bath and shower fixtures, countertop lavatories, bath exhaust fans, fan controls, and associated electrical work. Vinyl flooring materials shall be government-furnished. The estimated start work date is 30 calendar days after receipt of notice of award, with a performance period of 120 calendar days. The estimated cost range is between $100,000 and $250,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued on an unrestricted basis pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration program, public law 100-656, as implemented by the OFPP Policy Directive and Test Plan dated 8/31/89. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 235110 and the applicable size standard is $11.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responsible sources may submit a bid. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All relevant solicitation documents, including specifications and drawings may be accessed for download beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be April 15, 2002) from the Government-wide Electronic Posting System website (FedBizOpps) at http://www.eps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted solely on that website. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of bid opening. Companies not having the capability to download solicitation documents may refer to a list of printers available through the Tri-Service Solicitation Network, http://tsn.wes.army.mil/TSNSolicitationPrinting.asp. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000.
