Description

Notice of intent to award a sole source extension of six (6) months to ALLSTATE Professional Movers, of Temple Hill, MD, for moving and transporting office furniture, equipment, and supplies under authority of FAR 6.302. The Department of State has a need for the contractor to provide uninterrupted services that are vital to ensure compliance with federally mandated safety standards. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by contacting JonesPW@state.gov. The Department of State will consider all proposals received within 14 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Department of State NOT to complete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Department of State. At such time when a competitive solicitation is issued, proposals will be accepted.
