- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) requires Business Management Education services at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Otisville), located in Otisville, New York. The Government intends to make a single award for this requirement to an Offeror who will be responsible for all aspects of the Advanced Occupational Education Certificate Program in Business Management. The Contractor must have experience in establishing and overseeing certificate programs in advanced education and Business Management. Each instructor must have a background in the specific subject area he/she is to teach. The Contractor must be accredited by the appropriate accreditation body and meet all the requirements prescribed by that body for institutions of higher learning. The Contractor must provide pre-approved and qualified personnel to instruct a comprehensive advanced education program in Business Management leading to a one year certificate. Classes will be comprised of 15-20 male inmate students who are confined at FCI Otisville. The services will be performed inside the secure perimeter of the institution. The performance period will be the base year and four option years. This is open to all business types eligible to receive award. A security investigation/clearance is required. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit an offer that will be considered for award. The solicitation will be available on or after March 29, 2002, and will be distributed through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available except in extreme circumstances AND only if issuance in this manner is determined to be in the Government's best interest.
