Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Complex (FCC) Butner will be soliciting quotes for Medical Laboratory Phlebotomist services as a Small Business Set-Aside. FCC Butner has an all male offender population. Located at Old Highway 75 in Butner, North Carolina, FCC Butner currently includes the Federal Medical Center (FMC), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI), Low Security Correctional Institution (LSCI) and Federal Prison Camp (FPC). The contractor must be certified from an accredited school, have a minimum of one year experience performing basic laboratory and phlebotomy skills and maintain malpractice insurance coverage. Contractor must pass a background check to include a urinalysis test. A non-personal firm fixed price services contract will be awarded for a base period and four one-year option periods. The base period will begin from date of award through September 30, 2002. The schedule will entail six, one hour sessions per day, not to exceed thirty sessions per week.
