- Description
- Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Shery Smrstik for the AFSC/National Marine Mammal Lab (NMML). Purpose of proposed contract is to provide library support on various projects in the NMML library. Work will be provided on a part-time basis up to 20 hours per week for one base year, plus two option years. Proposed contractor is very familiar with NMML Library collection and with marine mammal literature in general. She possesses extensive library experince and is familiar with principles of library science including cataloging, weeding, and collection development. She also possesses considerable experience translating technical documents from Russian into English and with cataloging Russian language documents. Sourcs with similar qualifications and experience may submit same for review to Randall Brown at fax 206-526-6025. Any responses will be used only to determine whether to issue a competitive RFQ. This is a simplified acquiistion with an estimated value of less than $100,000.
