- Noxious Weed Treatment - This is a Performance Based Service Contract The purpose of this contract is to secure services for killing treatment of Canada, scotch, and bull thistle, and spotted knapweed within Ponderosa Pine plantations and rangeland areas; houndstongue treatment in aspen plantations and rangeland areas; and thistle in aspen plantation areas on the Norwood Ranger District. If the proposed treatment is for the use of Herbicides, the services shall be in accordance with the herbicide label and manufacturers recommendations, and in accordance with any applicable Federal, State, or local regulations. Project proposals should address all physical and technical aspects involved with the proposed treatment plan.
