- Description
- A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued for Strap Assembly, Chin and Earphone Holder, with quantities of 722 each and 2,477 each. Requires Engineering Source Approval. If you wish to become an approved source, please contact Melisa Marcovitz, DSCP, at 215-737-7846 or Kathleen Gullifer, DSCP, at 215-737-2496. NSN: 8415-01-394-8023 shall be in accordance with FNS/PD 96-18, Dated 1 November 1996, and 1680-ALSE-150, SHTS 1&2, 9/24/96. NSN: 8415-330-6618 shall be in accordance with Design Control Reference 83C6573. This RFQ will be issued on an unrestricted basis. The destinations for the subject item are: Defense Depot Tracy, Ca and Defense Depot New Cumberland, PA. Deliveries are due 90 days after award through 210 days after award (Five (5) Deliveries). First article testing is required. RFQ closing date of May 07, 2002 is estimated. See Numbered Notes: 9, 13, and 26. Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation. Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.mil/home after April 03, 2002. From the Gateway home page, select ?Search RFQs? from the left-hand sidebar. Then choose the RFQ you wish to view. Amendments to this solicitation WILL NOT be available via the Gateway. In order to receive notification of amendments to this solicitation you must E-MAIL the Contract Specialist, listed below under Point of Contact, with the name and address of prospective offeror, phone and fax number and a point of contact. Please reference solicitation number in all e-mail correspondence. An unsuccessful offer may result if prospective offeror FAILS to e-mail the Contract Specialist of their intent to offer on this solicitation. In addition, you can enter DSCP C&T FSCs and NSNs to receive notification of RFQs. The Gateway will send all registered users an e-mail notification of RFQ solicitations based on your FSC and NSN profile. The FSC and NSN notifications will also contain a link that can connect users directly to a digital copy of the solicitation on the Internet.
