- Description
- The Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), International Broadcasting Bureau (IBB), has a requirement for grounds maintenance services whereby the Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment and supplies necessary to perform antenna field mowing and vegetation control services at two sites, namely A and B, comprising the BBG's Greenville Transmitting Station in Greenville, North Carolina. Site A, located near Beargrass, NC in Beaufort County and approximately 18 miles northeast of Greenville, contains 2,821 acres. Site B, located near Blackjack, NC and approximately 18 miles south of Greenville, contains 2,715 acres. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed-price contract to meet this need. The term of the contract shall be for one year from date of contract award with options to extend for four additional one-year periods. It is anticipated an Invitation for Bid (IFB) solicitation will be issued on or about March 29, 2002. Firms interested in receiving a copy of Solicitation No. BBGCON3802S5293-BJS must respond in writing to the Contracting Officer at the above address or via facsimile at 202-260-0855. All requests for copies of the solicitation must include the solicitation number, company name, mailing address, telephone and facsimile numbers, and name of contact person. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be honored. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the Agency. Please Note: This is a total Small Business Set Aside. This public notice is not an RFP, IFB or RFQ.
