- Description
- The Regional Contracting Office, SW, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is soliciting sources to furnish office products, computer accessories, paper products, safety supplies, janitorial supplies and messhall supplies to the Consolidated Material Service Center, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. This synopsis is prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. The solicitation number is M00681-02-R-0013. The anticipated contract will be a Firm Fixed Price, Requirements type. This is an unrestricted procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal for consideration. The requirement is for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. The Government's need is to purchase these items on a continuous basis, through a consignment inventory and on a buy-on-demand basis. Delivery Orders will be issued under this contract on an "as required" basis. The ability of the contractor to meet the Government's demands for a "just in time" inventory concept is the primary focus of this contract. The following Federal Supply Classification Codes represent the majority of codes applicable to this solicitation 7510, 7530, 7540, 7610, 7910, 8460, 4240, 6260, 6510, 6840, 6850, 7920, 7930, 8405, 8415, 8520, 7310, 7330, 7340, 7350, 8105, 8135. The solicitation will be divided into lots by commodity, allowing for a single award of all lots or multiple single lot awards, to the offeror(s) whose offer is the most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors. Any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation will be a DO rated order certified for National Defense use under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System.
