Description

NA NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER. This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional informatio n included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation--a written solicitation will not be issued. There is no solicitation number, for reference use PR Number W81GNX-2030-2001. The National Ground Intelligence Center, Charlottes ville, VA is soliciting a sole source commercial-item purchase order (under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5) with Cytec Corp., Penfield NY. The proposed acquisition is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source unde r the authority of FAR Part 13.106-1 and 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1. This action is for the purchase of Analog Switch Matrix. Item 0001: VDX/32x32-50BNC, Quantity: 2 Each; Item 0002: IF-6 LAN Interface Card Option Quantity: 2 each; Item 0003: MC- 2 Keypad Manual Control w/LCD Display, Quantity: 2 Each. Delivery to 2055 Boulders Road, Charlottesville, VA 22911-8318. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses that are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04 . All quo tations (with capability statements) received within 5 days of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This is a 100% set-aside for small business, NAICS Code 335999.
