- Description
- This acquisition is being offered for full and open competition subject to the North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code 233310 (effective 22 Feb 2002), with a size standard of $28.5 Million and a Standard Industrial Classification of 1531. Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-Owned Small Businesses, Disabled Veteran Small Businesses, Native American and HUBZone certified Businesses are encouraged to participate. This project is located at F. E. Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming and involves replacing coils in existing heating and ventilation units in an industrial type building. This project will also include replacing existing air handling equipment serving an administration area and replacing existing circulating pumps. In addition, this project is designed to renovate an existing 6500 SF (approximately) administration area in the same building as the concurrent HVAC project. This project is designed to replace doors, hardware, millwork, signage, cabinets, lighting and air conditioning. New finishes shall be provided throughout the area. Work includes but is not limited to selective demolition, asbestos abatement, carpentry, finish work, painting, sheet metal, mechanical, piping and electrical. The performance period for the resultant construction contract awarded as a result of this solicitation is 180 calendar days. There is no winter exclusion period for this project. The cost magnitude for this project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Issue date for this solicitation in anticipated to be on or about 1 April 2002, with a closing date 30 calendar days after issuance. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal under Performance Pride Trade-Off (PPT). Under PPT, past performance will be evaluated. This solicitation will be available only via the Internet at the following address: www.eps.gov.
