- Description
- Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to remove and replace damaged ceramic tile floor/setting bed and install epoxy composition floor over existing ceramic tile floor in the Canteen Kitchen, Building 4; install seamless vinyl floor over existing ceramic floor in Rooms BF-11A and 111B in Building 143 basement; remove and replace leveling bed/ceramic floor and cracked/broken cove base in Room BA-101, Building 2A. The work in the Canteen Kitchen includes removal and replacement of kitchen equipment as required. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small business. NAICS 235430 with a small business size standard of $12M applies. A pre-bid conference will be held o/a April 12, 2002. Specific information concerning the pre-bid conference will be contained in the solicitation. All potential bidders are strongly encouraged to attend. Construction estimate is between $25,000 - $100,000. The solicitation will be available for download at no charge o/a April 1, 2002 via the VA Business Opportunities System website at http://www.va.gov/oa&mm/busopp/sols.htm. Any amendments will be posted at the website. Bidders are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all documents and amendments. Bids submitted must have an original signature by an individual authorized to bind the company. Electronic bids will not be accepted. A public opening will be held.
