- Description
- This solicitation replaces Sol. NO. 603-40-02. Notice of proposed contract action and presolicitation notice. Sealed bids for award of firm-fixed price contract to provide all labor, materials, equipment and qualified supervision to Replace HVAC Systems at the VA Medical Center, Louisville, Kentucky. The project, Bid Item 1, includes demolition, architectural, roofing, mechanical, electrical, equipment, asbestos removal, and other items as required by drawings and specifications. Work includes HVAC ductwork, equipment replacement, and related work at 8th floor computer room, 5th floor mechanical penthouse & Penthouse roof, and 4th floor Orthopedic Operating Room (B417) and adjacent corridor, and other areas. All work must be done in accordance with phasing requirements and completion within 301 calendar days of Notice to Proceed. Project cost range is between $1.0 Mil and $2.0 Mil. The solicitation is unrestricted and all responsive responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. Award is subject to availability of funding. NAICS 235110 with size standard of $12 Million applies to the solicitation. Solicitation package is scheduled to issue on/about March 27, 2002: electronic solicitation may be downloaded after that date at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/solicitation? Hard copy of solicitation may be obtained by written request to the contracting office. Request for hard-copy must include $100 (non-refundable) company check or money order. Make check/money order payable to VAMC 603. Telephone and faxed requests will not be accepted. Bid opening date is set for April 24, 2002 @ 2:30PM local (ET).
