- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division (NSWC Crane) has a requirement for major repair, test, and acceptance of ALQ-162 Output Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs). Tubes were originally manufactured by Communications and Power Industries, Palo Alto, CA. An indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract is envisioned with the following min/max quantities over a three-year period: 12 (min) and 100 (max) for the TWTs. The TWTs are to be repaired and tested in accordance with NSWC Statement of Work (SOW). The contractor shall furnish all labor and materials to major repair and test TWTs to performance specifications in the SOW. As a minimum the Gun Assembly shall be replaced in each repaired TWT and a new Equalizer shall be provided with every TWT repaired. The Government will provide failed TWTs to the contractor for repair as Government Furnished Material (GFM). First A rticle Testing shall be required. Inspection and Acceptance shall be Destination, NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. FOB Destination NAVSURFWARCENDIV Crane, IN. Delivery of two each First Article units shall be required within 90 days after contract award. This solicitation will be available on or about 15 March 2002 at the site listed below.
