Description

NA The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to enter into a firm, fixed price contract for work to be performed at its Fort Mifflin Project Office, Philadelphia, PA, in accordance with the terms and conditions of Solicitation Number DA CW61-02-R-0030. The work involves the spuds for the Mooring Barge 2 (MB2). The MB2 has four (4) spuds currently in place, each of which weighs about 25 tons and is approximately 60-feet long. The scope of work will include: (1) removal of the spuds befo re the MB2 is moved into drydock for an overhaul; (2) inspection and repair of the spuds; and (3) placing the repaired spuds back onto the MB2. Removal of the spuds must occur before the MB2 is moved to drydock (currently expected to take place in mid to late April). Inspection and repair of the spuds should be completed in approximately 6 weeks. THE SOLE METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTION OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE THE PHILADELPHIA DISTRICT WEBSITE. The North Atlantic Industrial Classification (NAIC) for this procurem ent is 336611. The small business size standard is 1,000 employees. The procurement is unrestricted.
