- Description
- ALL REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING, ON COMPANY LETTERHEAD, BY FAX AT 765-677-3106, OR VIA E-MAIL TO marcia.guenin@med.va.gov. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, and expert supervision to replace an existing steam supply main from Building 16 to Building 15 at the VA Northern Indiana Health Care System, Marion, Indiana. Work includes, but is not limited to removal of the existing steam line between buildings, removal of PRV in Building 15, removal of PRV in Building 16, installation of PRVs in the basement of Building 16, installation of pressure powered pump and air compressor in the basement of Building 16, and all other associated piping valves, insulation, etc. to construct a complete system as indicated on the construction drawings. All work shall be performed in the basement of Building 16, crawl space of Building 15 and crawl space in connecting corridor between the two buildings. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 19.10 Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program this procurement is unrestricted. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) cNumber 235110 with a size standard of $12.0 million applies to this procurement. Estimate: $25,000 to $100,000. Approximate solicitation issue date: April 2, 2002. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
