- This modification is issued to changes the procurement procedures for this requirement as follow: Department of Justice, Telecommunications Services Staff intends to procure on a sole-source basis InfoVista Corporation of Columbia, MD. InfoVista shall provide the following: a InfoVista Runtime Server; InfoVista Runtime Client; InfoVista Workshop server; InfoVista Workshop Client; Vistafinder VistaPortal SE and all free of charge Vista Views including: Vistaview for Routers - Cisco; Vista View for LAN switches - Cisco; Vistaview for ATM switches-FORE; Vistaview for DSLAM - Paradyne; Vistaview for WAN Switches - Passport; Vistaview for ATM Routers - Cisco; VistaView for Servers - Host Resources; Annual Support Services (8x5), Education - 1 unit, Education - Extended Price and maintenance. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, Subpart 13.106 and Subpart 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be completed and included with any and all offers submitted in response to this solicitation. FAR Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. All referenced FAR clauses may be copied at www.arnet.gov/far. Services under this synopsis must comply with the following Section 508 Accessibility Standards: 1194.21 Software Applications and Operating Systems; 1194.21 Software Applications and Operating Systems; 1194.31 Functional performance criteria; and 1194.41 Information, documentation, and support (see http://www.section508.gov) Responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be submitted in writing and should be faxed (202-307-1931) or emailed (Donna.Bethea@usdoj.gov) to Donna Bethea by 4:00pm EST on March 20, 2002.
