- This modification is issued to changes the procurement procedures for this requirement as follows: Department of Justice, Telecommunications Services Staff intends to procure on a sole-source basis Riversoft of Falls Church, VA for 1-Riversoft Fault Manager V2 License for up to 10,000 network devices; five days on-site professional services; and 1-year 24 x 7 maintenance and support. Contract employees working on this task may be required to have a favorable NACI check. This requirement will be procured in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6, Subpart 13.106 and Subpart 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items, must be completed and included with any and all offers submitted in response to this solicitation. FAR Clauses 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items is hereby incorporated by reference. All referenced FAR clauses may be copied at www.arnet.gov/far. Services under this synopsis must comply with the following Section 508 Accessibility Standards: 1194.21 Software Applications and Operating Systems; 1194.21 Software Applications and Operating Systems; Telecommunications Products (1194.23), 1194.31 Functional performance criteria; and 1194.41 Information, documentation, and support (see http://www.section508.gov). Responses received as a result of this notice of intent shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. Responses will not be considered as either proposals or bids. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition, based upon the written responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Responses must be submitted in writing and should be faxed (202-307-1931) or emailed (Donna.Bethea@usdoj.gov) to Donna Bethea by 4:00pm EST on March 20, 2002.
