Description
The Chemoprevention Branch, Division of Cancer Prevention of the National Cancer Institute (NCI), through the Preclinical Toxicology of Chemopreventive Agents Master Agreement (MA) pool is seeking to issue Master Agreement Orders for the following Workstatements (1) 28-day oral toxicity of farnesol in rats (treatment/recovery) (2) Chronic oral toxicity studies of characterized isoflavone mixture in rats and dogs (3) Genotoxicity: Lymphoma assay for curcumin C3 complex (4) 14/28 Day oral toxicity with farnesol in dogs (5) Dermal sensitization (Buehler test) for Nia-114 (6) Dermal irritation on multiple treatment- Nia-114 (7) Metabolism of radioactive fluasterone in dogs (8) Bioanalytical method development and drug metabolism [2 awards] (9) Drug exposure on different dosing paradigm (10) Drug metabolism/drug interactions in vitro studies [2 awards] (11) Absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of 14C-Nia-114 (12) Analytical method development and validation for Nia-114 and metabolites The Master Agreement holder(s) shall undertake, under direction of the Government, those protocols as addressed in each Workstatement. MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERION: NCI WILL ONLY ACCEPT PROPOSALS FROM CURRENT MASTER AGREEMENT HOLDERS IN THE PRECLINICAL TOXICOLOGY OF CHEMOPREVENTIVE AGENTS MASTER AGREEMENT POOL. Current MA Pool members are as follows: 1. MPI Research, LLC 2. Springborn Laboratories, Inc. 3. Southern Research Institute 4. IIT Research Institute 5. SRI International 6. University of Illinois at Chicago 7. Research Triangle Institute 8. Litron Laboratories 9. Lovelace Biomedical and Environmental Research Institute The code for this project based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541710. Those who are not currently listed and wish to considered for inclusion in a pool should consult the Research Contracts Branchs website at http://amb.nci.nih.gov.
