Description
Port Hueneme Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to solicit, negotiate, and award an IDIQ Cost Plus Award Fee type contract on a competitive basis for Missile Systems Facility Engineering Services. ). The applicable North American Industrial Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 541330, Federal Supply Code (FSC) is R414, with a size Standard of $23.0 Million. The proposed requirement will be a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. All work is specifically related to mis-sile development, production, in-service engineering and the maintenance or operational aspects of related support equipment. Overall, the work will include support of the following Missile Systems; STANDARD MISSILE; TOMAHAWK All-Up-Round (AUR)/VLS TOMAHAWK; Vertical Launch ASROC (VLA) Missile and AUR; Vertical Launching Systems Canisters; Evolved SEASPARROW Missile (ESSM); Extended Rang e Guided Munitions (ERGM). Specific tasks for the above missile systems will include: Missile Development Support; and Foreign Military Sales (FMS); Missile Engineering; Missile Production/Maintenance Planning and Support; Missile Test Systems Engineering; Computer System Development and Maintenance; Missile Processing/ Operational Support; Missile Industrial Engineering/Workload Planning; Missile Depot Maintenance Management; Missile Material Management. The proposed contract is anticipated to be awarded for a basic contract period of twelve (12) months, with four additional one-year option periods for a total of sixty (60) months. The anticipated level of effort for this requirement will be 75,000 hours per year. The anticipated release date for this solicitation is on or about 25 March 2002. Note 26 is applicable to this requirement. Award of the proposed contract is anti cipated to be made on or before September 30, 2002.
