Description

NA Project Title: Tracy-RPL General Purpose Warehouse. Location: Defense Distribution Center (DDJC), Tracy CA. Type Of Contract: Construction. Price Range (est): $10M+. Contract Speciatist: Rick Vredenburg, PHONE #(916) 557-5234; Contracting Officer: Michael Shupp, PHONE #(916) 557-7733. Job Description: Construct a 480,000 SF, permanent, non-combustible, General Purpose Warehouse with concrete floors at dock height and 26 SF clear stacking height for active bulk storage. Warehouse will require we ather sealed truck doors, loading docks with dock levelers, paved roadways, connection to all utilities, mechanical ventilation for the warehouse, walks, curbs, gutters, storm drainage, battery charging areas in each bay in addition to a battery changing s tation and natural gas fired heaters and evaporation cooling in the shipping and receiving area. The project will also include 7,133 SF Administrative Annex and a 960 SF Utility Annex. The administrative annexes will include administrative offices, restr ooms, employee locker rooms, communication closets and break/lunch rooms. The project will also include eight each 11.14M2 sprinkler riser annexes 89.19M2. Supporting facilities include utilities work, both voice and data communication systems, fire alar m and suppressant system, paving and site improvements. Project also includes demolition of four antiquated WWII warehouses consisting of 693,360 SF. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Y299, SIC CODE: 1541, NAICS Code: 233310. Type Of Award: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is Unrestricted and all qualified bus inesses may respond. All responses to this RFP should be in by 02 May 2002. Ordering Solicitation: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Division?s Internet Home Page at ?http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil /? for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from this web site. Requests for copies of this solicitation in any other format than what is advertised will be disregarded. It is important that you firs t go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders? registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and s hare it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back int o the system and register for other jobs without having to go through the entire registration process. However, you can only do this by using your initial user name and password. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency.
