- NA 1. The US Army Communications-Electronics Command intends to award a Sole Source contract to Rockwell Scientific Corporation in support of a joint program to perform collaborative research toward the development of Negative Luminescence (NL) devices for u ncooled IR sensor radiation shielding applications and to demonstrate near infrared and far infrared sensing on the same uncooled focal plane array. There will be two tasks involved on this contract. The first task will allow the Government to assess the suitability of the NL technology for advancing to the next level of pratical device development for military sensor applications. The second task will allow the completion of a unique two-color uncooled IR sensor. See Note 33. 2. This notice is used f or informational purposes only. POC for this action is Andrew A.
