- Description
- The Federal Correctional Institution(FCI)& Federal Prison Camp (FPC), Pekin, Illinois has a requirement for the provision of Carbonated and Non-Carbonated Bag-in-Box Soft Drinks along with use of equipment to dispense the requirements. The government intends to make a single award to the offeror providing the best value to the government. The Government contemplates award of a requirements type contract. The proposed contract award will include a one-year base period with two one-year option periods with an estimated award date of 4/1/02. The Government estimates the following requirements for the each contract performance period: Line Item 001, Cola, 5 gallon, bag-in-the-box, 680 boxes Line Item 002, Diet Cola, 5 gallon, bag-in-the-box, 215 boxes Line Item 003, Un-Cola, 5 gallon, bag-in-the-box, 600 boxes Line Item 004, Fruit Punch, 5 gallon, bag-in-the-box, 616 boxes Line Item 005, Cherry Cola, 5 gallon, bag-in-the-box, 440 boxes Beverages to be supplied are bag-in-box, five gallon bag per box, natural or equal flavoring, 5 to 1 ratio. Additionally, 2.5 gallon bags will be acceptable for products not available in 5 gallon containers. Flavors will be Cola, Diet-Cola, Un-Cola (Similar in flavor and appearance to Slice, Sprite, 7-Up or Sierra Mist), Fruit Punch and Cherry Cola. Destination Information: Offerors are advised that the delivery location for all carbonated beverages is the Federal Correctional Institution(FCI) and the Federal Prison Camp (FPC, Pekin, Illinois. Delivery Schedule: Delivery orders will be placed telephonically and orders will be based upon requirements submitted from the Food Services Administrator. Delivery hours will be between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 3:00 P.M. Central Standard Time, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Award will be made on an All or None Basis. The NAIC Code is 422490. You may fax your request to the following number (913) 551-1074. This requirement is advertised as 100% Full and Open Competition. The procedure to be used in awarding the contract is written quotations under test procedures. Penal Institution Security requirements are applicable. This solicitation will be available to interested parties on or after 3/13/02, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through this site.
