- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has a requirement for alterations and repair of real property. Services also include support maintenance. Work includes but is not limited to the following: Carpentry items such as demolition and construction of partitions; sound insulations; acoustic ceiling work; floor coverings to include carpet, vinyl tile, vinyl base; painting; new and used door installation or relocation; door hardware to include locking, passage, panic type and keys as necessary. Mechanical items to include: replacement, relocation, or newly installed air diffusers and return air grills; furnish and install or relocate thermostats; furnish, relocate or remove mechanical ceiling fans; and mechanical air balance as necessary. Sprinkler system items to include: addition, removal or relocation of sprinkler heads per NFPA standards to include hourly rate of labor for building engineer to disable system and drain down then reset after completion.
