- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends negotiate with McDonnell Douglas Corporation, a Wholly Owned Subsidiary of The Boeing Company, PO Box 516, St. Louis, MO 63166-0516, to provide engineering support for aerodynamic database assessments and updates and Simulation Working Group activities for the F/A-18 aircraft. McDonnell Douglas is the designer, developer and sole manufacturer of the F/A-18 aircraft in its various configurations and is the only source with the knowledge, expertise, facilities, tooling, special test equipment and design/technical data necessary to accomplish this effort.
