- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Southeast Regional Office is soliciting quotes for the provision of Dental Laboratory Technician Services at the United States Penitentiary (USP)located at 601 McDonough Boulevard, SE, Atlanta, Georgia 30315 as a Small Business Set-Aside. The Request for Quote is issued under NAICS code 621399 with small business size standard of $5 million. The Contractor shall provide professional Dental Laboratory Technician services to the inmate population at the USP in Atlanta, Georgia. Contractor is required to have graduated from an accredited Dental Laboratory Technician program with at least two years experience in the field and certified in all aspects of complete and partial dentures. Medical liability insurance will also be required. The anticipated period of performance will be as follows: Base year to begin effective Date of Award (DOA) through 12 months from DOA; Option Year 1: 13 months from DOA thru 24 months from DOA; Option Year 2: 25 months from DOA thru 36 months from DOA; Option Year 3: 37 months from DOA thru 48 months from DOA; Option Year 4: 49 months from DOA thru 60 months from DOA. Service is anticipated to begin May 1, 2002. Work schedule will be 5 (six hour) sessions per week, with thirty minute unpaid lunch each session, not to exceed thirty hours per week. The quantity of sessions for Base year and all Option years will be 260 sessions per contract year. All responsible sources may apply.
