Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Coastal Services Center (CSC) has a requirement to develop an issue-based characterization report for coastal management planning. The proposed project will result in the creation of a website that provides a broad context for understanding a management issue relevant to coastal regions of the United States. The pool of potential topics shall be limited to watershed assessment, estuarine benthic mapping, habitat fragmentation, invasive species, habitat restoration, or coastal development. CSC will use the material submitted by the Contractor to develop a website that is designed to effectively communicate technical and scientific information to a primarily non-scientific audience, especially state and local government officials, community planners, and resource managers. Information will be communicated using non-technical language and visual representations, including animations, digital video images, photographs, and spatial data. Period of performance will be 12 months from contract award date. All responsible sources may submit an offer to the RFQ which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation and associated attachment is herewith provided as a downloadable file in Word format. Copies of the solicitation may be provided in response to written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor. Telephone requests will not be honored.
