- Description
- This project is a request for proposals to construct a dormitory building at the Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Civilian Conservation Center in Franklin, North Carolina. The proposed project involves the construction of a two story dormitory building; site improvements including sidewalk, concrete propane pad, and electrical transformer pad; all site services including potable water, sanitary sewer, propane gas, electrical, emergency electrical generator, telephone, cable, and fire alarm; and contractor designed and built fire protection system for the entire building, including the attic. The project is located approximately 6.5 miles north of the city of Franklin at 3170 Wayah Road in the Nantahala National Forest in Macon County, North Carolina. The performance period is 365 calendar days. The magnitude of the proposed firm, fixed price contract is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The project is a total HUBZone set-aside.
