- NOTE: THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS NOT FOR A SPECIFIC PROJECT, THIS OFFICE IS JUST TRYING TO DEVELOP A POOL OF CONTRACTORS THAT WE CAN USE WHEN PROJECTS ARISE. <P> APPLICATION IS ATTACHED TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT ON FAA's WEBSITE: WWW.FAA.GOV <P> We are looking for contractor types that are 8(a) certified by SBA, we will also consider Joint Ventures that have SBA approval, Women-owned, Disabled Veteran-owned, and other small businesses. <P> Please read the attached instructions very carefully and provide all the information requested. <P> If your company has previously submitted an application to get on the FAA Southwest Region?s Construction Vendor List (CVL),then you only need to submit any changes to your previous application. If your not sure if you are on our CVL, then please send a fax to Claire White at (817) 222-5994. <P> If you are responding to the announcement for construction projects of $2 millon or more, then you need not resubmit under this announcement. <P> Providing this information to the Southwest Region and being placed on our CVL, does not guarantee that you will get an award. Most awards are to the low offer, and at times it is based on the Best Value to the FAA. <P>
