- NA The Seattle District, Corps of Engineers intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Natural Resources Consultants for professional services titled Section 22 Study: Resident Time and Growth of Juvenile Chinook Salmon, Duwamish River and Shilshole Ba y, King County, Washington. Develop accurate means of assessing residence time and growth rates of chinook salmon in the Duwamish River and Shilshole Bay. Analyze the coded-wire-tag database to estimate release to recovery survival rates of fall chinook sa lmon released into Puget Sound watersheds differing in the degree of estuarine habitat degradation. Evaluate the potential effects of pink salmon on growth and survival of other salmon species in the marine environment. All work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications package. The Estimated dollar value is in the range of $100,000.00 to $250,000.00 with a completion period of 365 calendar days. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541620 and the Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is R702 with size standard of $5.0 million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U S Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in electronic fo rmat only at the following site http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ . No disks will be mailed. Firms must register in order to receive notification about amendments. The solicitation will be available for download on or about 25 March 2002.
