PRON: AX2F0042AX; NSN: 1650-01-078-5716; Quantity: Min 1261 each / Max 1981 each, 5 years of Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity; Part Number: 70351-08042-041 applicable to the UH-60 Blackhawk. This item is restricted to the approved sources: Laumann Mfg Corp (Cage Code 65273) and Precision Gear Incorporated (Cage Code 21540) because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Required delivery with first article is 405 d ays after contract award. Required delivery without first article is 270 days after contract award. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the app roved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technical data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. Deliveries are FOB origin to Texarkana, TX 75507-5000. This acquisition contains data which is considered critical technology and has been restricted for release outside the United States. This information cannot be released outside the United States without prior approval of the Government. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by assessing the website www.redston e.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under SAR information. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. See Numbered Notes 23, and 26.
