Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items. This solicitation is unrestricted and has no set-aside provisions. The California National Guard intends to establish multiple pre-priced Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) with hotels in the south San Diego and El Centro areas to satisfy lodging requirements for Task Force Border Mission. Preference is for a single vendor to cover both locations. However, bids will be accepted for either/both locations. Period of Performance begins 10 March 2002 and lasts for approximately 179 days with options to extend services. HOTEL REQUIREMENTS: *Hotel must be equivalent to AAA ? 3 Star Rating; *Single occupancy rooms or double occupancy with a common area; *All soldiers in each location must be in co- located for transportation reasons; *On-site restaurant or in-room cooking facilities; *Must be within reasonable walking distance of 3 or more eating establishments; *Within 45 minute commute distance from Points of Entry (San Ysidro, Otay Mesa & Tecate) and (Andrade & Calexico East and West) respectively; *Prefer locations with laundry facilities, restaurants and grocery store in immediate vacinity; *Additional non-chargeable room required at each location to serve as ?office or orderly room?; *Room rates must not exceed Government Per Diem; *Room rate will be inclusive of any surcharges, energy charge, etc.; *Hotel shall be in compliance with all Federal, State and local regulations and health and fire regulations; *Gov?t is responsible only for rooms req uested by BPA call officer as designated in agreement; *BPA call officer will make room reservations; *Room occupants are responsible for all charges incurred other than the room rate (i.e. room service, telephone, movies, etc.). LOCATIONS: The following are current locations and personnel numbers: *El Centro: 58 each; San Diego: 120 each. Headcounts at any location may change up or down. Evaluation will be based approximately equally on price, amenities and location. All vendo rs MUST be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Duns & Bradstreet, CAGE Code & Federal Tax ID numbers MUST be submitted with quote.
