- Description
- This is a "Sources Sought" notice. MacDill AFB, Florida has a requirement to purchase Motorola ASTRO Narrowband UHF Trunked System equipment or equal. The equipment must interface with the Motorola ASTRO radios currently in use. MacDill AFB is currently using wideband (25 kHz channel spacing) LMR frequency assignments and must now migrate to narrowband (12.5 kHz channel spacing). If you have the capability of providing Motorola ASTRO Narrowband UHF Trunked System equipment or equal please e-mail parentd@macdill.af.mil or fax 813-828-5111. Provide any information on your company which you believe will be useful; such as, CCR registration information, capabilities, products lists, etc. A decision will be made at the closing of this notice, 15 March 2002, 2:00 PM EST, whether a request for proposal will be issued or we will be negotiating sole source with Motorola Corporation.
