- The United States Marshals Service (USMS) requires vehicle towing, storage, maintenance and disposal services for the District of Vermont (Burlington area). It is the intent of the USMS to award a commercial item contract using simplified acquisition procedures. The contract term will be for a base year with four (4) one-year options. The contract type will be an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) with firm-fixed prices. This requirement is set aside for small business concerns. The solicitation will be available on or after March 12, 2002, and will be distributed soley through Federal Business Opportunities (FEDBIZOPPS) web site. Hard copies of the solicitation document will be not be available. NO TELEPHONIC REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The FBO site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the FBO site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
