- The C-130 ASES Team is pleased to announce the date and location for Presolicitation Conference/ Industry Training Day. The purpose of this event is twofold; 1) to discuss industry's comments on the ASES Draft RFP (available for download at http://pkec.robins.af.mil/ASES/ASES.htm), and 2) to foster better understanding of the source selection process. The Presolicitation Conference/Industry Training Day will take place on Tuesday, 19 Mar 02 at the Vista Scope Theatre in the Eagle Building at the Robins Air Force Base Museum of Aviation. It will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 4:00 p.m. Directions and Motel information are at the referenced web address. An agenda for the day's event will be made available NLT 12 Mar 02 at the ASES Website. As a reminder, this acquisition will be 100% set aside for small business. Any comments you may have on the draft RFP should be provided to us NLT 08 Mar 02. Please submit your comments to the e-mail addresses set forth below. Due to space limitations at the facility, industry participation will be limited to only those parties who intend to submit a proposal to the Government to satisfy the requirement. Industry teams shall be limited in size to a total of two people for companies interested in ASES as a Prime Contractor, and one person for companies interested in ASES as a Subcontractor. Industry participation in this event is entirely voluntary. The Government will not pay for the information obtained during this event or for the time and expense of the industry participants involved. Further, the Government requires unrestricted use of any information resulting from Industry Day. Do not assume that a contract will result from this effort. We are looking forward to seeing you at Industry Day.
