- Description
- The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting proposals from qualified legal firms and attorneys for legal services to assist the Trust?s General Counsel. The Trust plans to select a law firm or attorney with expertise in federal labor and employment law, union-management relations and collective bargaining; and litigation and alternative dispute resolution directly related to those areas. The Presidio of San Francisco is a National Historic Landmark. Scope of services may include but is not limited to providing legal support to the Trust in negotiating a collective bargaining agreement and assisting in representing the Trust before the Federal Labor Relations Authority. The Trust anticipates awarding an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a base term plus option years. Minimum qualifications include: membership in the Bar of one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. Proposals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request for Proposals (RFP), including but not limited to: (a) Demonstrated specialized expertise in the areas listed above; (b) Professional qualifications of the principal(s) and proposed key personnel; (c) Past performance (including references) with government agencies and private industry; and (d) Proposed fee schedule. RFP available approx. March 4, 2002 with proposals due approx. April 8, 2002. DATES ARE TENTATIVE AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE. Qualified small businesses (including small disadvantaged businesses, minority- and women-owned small businesses) are encouraged to respond. The Presidio Trust is a wholly-owned federal government corporation and is not subject to the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
