NA DESC: 5945-01-354-8786, Part Number: 12934604, The item to procure is a Relay, Electromagnet. Requirements are 80 each, Relays. FOB is New Cumberland, PA. For use on the M109 Self- Propelled Howitzer. Estimated issue date is 14 March 2002. This solicit ation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via t he internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mai ling list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and t ime set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY02 requirement. Effective 07 January 2002, the TACOM Rock Island Acquisition center will no longer mail Technical Data Package (TDP) Compact Disks (CDs) if the TDP contains 20 or fewer reference documents (Drawings, SQAPs, etc.) and the technical data is available on the World Wide Web. The Technical data will be accessible from the TACOM Rock Island Solicitation page located at: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/Padds_web/index.html. Restricted TDPs (which are not currently posted to the web) will still be available only v ia CD. The substantial cost of processing CDs has necessitated taking this step.
