Description

Subject: Sources Sought. Keesler is in the process of determining if the requirement described herein should be set-aside for HUB Zone, 8(a), or small business concerns. This requirement is under NAICS 51211 (Size Standard $25million. The solicitation will involve the use of past performance price trade off procedures in evaluation and determination of overall best value to the Government. Specifically the contractor will be required to provide the following services: Multimedia Services is responsible for the production of high quality visual products for assigned and tenant organizations at Keesler AFB. The services include video production (both local and Air Force directed; video documentation (VIDOC) and advanced Distance Learning Uplink Interactive tele-training (IVT) satellite broadcasts; secure and non-secure Video teleconferencing (VTC); video broadcasts on the Commanders Access Television Channel (CATV); presentation support and service; digital and traditional graphic arts and digital and traditional still photography. In addition, provide facilities and staff available to help personnel in planning and execution of presentations involving public address systems, self-help graphics, photography and video elements. Examples of included items are: Graphic (vu-graphs, charts, book-covers, posters, nameplates, models, displays, emblems, student textbook illustrations, Interactive Course Ware (ICW) computer design, etc.). Still photography, (studio, location, alert, photojournalism, medical, etc.). Video-teleconferencing, (VTC) Point-to-point, multi-point, secure and non-secure). Satelite video broadcasts worldwide (IVT). Local video production, for classroom and Public affairs. Operation of Commander's, access channel (CATV). Air Force tasked video productions. Visual, audio equipment loan/checkout/setup/operation for presentations. The proposed performance period is: Basic Period 1 Oct 02 - 30 Sep 03, 10 month option period 1 Oct 03 - 31 Jul 04, 2 month option period 1 Aug 04 - 30 Sep 04 and 2, 6 month option periods. An additional synopsis will be issued prior to issuance of the new solicitation. The current contract was a 100% small business set-aside, the current annual cost approximately $1.9 million.
