Description

This is a revision to a previous pre-solicitation notice. The Colville National Forest requires Spring and Fall Road Blading on roads in Ferry, Stevens, and Pend Oreille Counties, Washington. Work will consist of road blading and other routine and reoccurring maintenance of the roads throughout the Colville National Forest. Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation and supplies to complete the job. This project will be advertised as a written request for quotations and will be solicited under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP) Rules. Estimated issue date of the solicitation is on or about March 1, 2002. Contract work is estimated from May 1st through July 1st with a summer break and then September 1st to October 30th. This project is an indefinite quantity contract for three years (Fiscal years 2002, 2003 and 2004). The Government is estimating approximately 380 single lane miles (per year) of road. Actual amount may vary as roads are surveyed and amount of funding becomes available. Government will guarantee at least 300 single lane miles for this contract. Contractor will be paid for actual work performed. Proposals are estimated to be due March 29, 2002. The proposed project listed here is a 100 percent small business set-aside. The total price range (for all three years) is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered.
